Junior Product Owner
Description
Shape technology that matters. At System C, our software connects health and social care so clinicians can spend more time caring. We’re looking for a Junior Product Owner, known internally as Associate Product Owner to join our product community and learn the craft of turning real user needs into great software. This is an entry-level role with a structured two-year programme of training, mentoring and on-the-job experience.
What you’ll do
- Learn and apply agile/SAFe practices as part of a cross-functional squad.
- Translate customer problems into clear user stories and acceptance criteria; help refine and prioritise the backlog for value.
- Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives; support release notes and go-to-market materials.
- Engage with stakeholders for requirements, demos and feedback; track delivery through to outcomes.
- Use data and user feedback to support decisions and continuous improvement.
About you
- Strong communicator who enjoys collaboration and solving problems.
- Organised, curious and comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Keen to learn tools like Jira, Confluence or Aha!, and to build product, leadership and stakeholder skills over time.
- Interest in health, social care or public sector technology is a plus.
What you’ll get
- A clear development pathway to become a fully autonomous Product Owner, with formal training, workshops and mentorship.
- Friendly peers, purposeful work and a values-led culture grounded in humility, ownership, collaboration and integrity.
If you’re early in your career - perhaps a recent graduate, returning to work, or pivoting into product - and want to learn fast while doing good, we’d love to meet you. Apply today.
